Jan 24, 2022 · I couldn't really find any information on the performance impact of using a GPU in a PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, instead of a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot. I finally got a RTX 3080, but it doesn't quite fit in my current setup in the x16 slot, which is what prompted the question.
