Thoughts on Buying a Well Used P7-Series Gun for Carry?
Oct 4, 2021 · The P7 is a great gun, probably one of the best there ever was in terms of safety. But I wouldn't do it for a number of reasons. First its heavy relative to what it is. Second, certain parts are non-existent now. If something breaks it may take a while to find the parts. Buy a HK P2000/P2000SK and call it a day.
P7Pro opinions | HKPRO Forums
Apr 23, 2024 · I have 3 pistols from P7Pro, all run great and the finish is superior to what HK did. You can also get several options that HK never offered making your pistol unique and fun to shoot. If you want a gun to carry, enjoy, and not worry about, go with a P7Pro. He also gives a lifetime warranty, send a broken P7 to HK and see what happens.
Heckler and Koch P7 - Range Report and Review | HKPRO Forums
Apr 19, 2008 · Bottom line here, folks- The P7 is a great gun. It will be my carry weapon, once I find a leather IWB holster. It is reliable, easy to shoot accurately, and dead sexy. Thanks for reading. Feel free to ask me any questions about the gun, and I'll try to answer them as best I can. I love this freaking pistol.
HK P7 - is it STILL the PERFECT GUN for concealed carry?
Jul 1, 2018 · It's very similar to the 1911 hold-outs. And much like the 1911 whose thumb safety can "get you killed in da streets", the P7 design has its unique squeeze cock design which means there is no cost-effective training substitute. It comes down to fighting with a gun vs. shooting. A good shooting gun doesn't mean it's the right gun to take into a ...
The Iconic P7 - Good Value vs How Much is Too Much
Aug 29, 2022 · When I did an assessment about a year ago, based on gun-broker, I did a 6 month study of SOLD prices for the 3 main P7 models, and I discarded the highest 2 prices and lowest 1 price in the data, and discarded particular special specimens. What I found as the going rate for good looking P7's one year ago on that assessment, was along the lines of:
P7 run and gun - HKPRO Forums
Jan 8, 2023 · I ran that course with friends 9mm pistol caliber carbine, again with a .45 1911, and also with the P7 (PSP). Times were PCC: 35.5 seconds.45 1911: 60 seconds P7: 47 seconds. I was kind of impressed at how much faster that P7 was than the 1911, and it just tended to point and deliver that first round more accurate and faster, on each target.
P7 assembly help | HKPRO Forums
Mar 6, 2024 · The problem is that the gun has to be shipped back to an FFL in my state (MA) and the shop that agreed to take it on the way back will charge me $50 plus (can't remember exactly what they said). If the P7 was a little bit older, I could use my C&R license. Maybe...maybe my P7 was a prototype made in 1974.
P7 slide rebluing recommendations? | HKPRO Forums
Feb 2, 2025 · When factoring in the cost of rebluing, also add the amount that the gun will lose in value. If you do choose to go that route, why not the frame too? Just doing the slide would look like weird, like putting new rims on a beat up car. Seems like a lot of work just to get rid of the least offensive import mark available on a P7.
Should P7Pro bring back the P7M10 .40 - HKPRO Forums
May 26, 2024 · The P7 M10 starts with a P7M13 frame. HK wanted to be competitive in government 1911 and similar opportunities for sales to law enforcement. The smaller dimensions of the P7 and excellent shooting characteristics should make it at least a niche option for concealed carry. Initial prototypes were very much like the P7M13 in many respects.
HK P7 heat question (actually, lack of heat) | HKPRO Forums
Apr 7, 2024 · The P7 is not a combat gun, which is to say not designed to lay down a heavy count of suppressive fire, or extended multiple enemy encounter. Though, Sgt York captured a German platoon with a 7 shot/magazine 1911 and many engagements.
