Ehud Olmert (/ ˈ oʊ l m ər t,-m ɛər t /; [1] Hebrew: אֶהוּד אוֹלְמֶרְט, IPA: [eˈhud ˈolmeʁt] ⓘ; born 30 September 1945) is an Israeli politician and lawyer.

The realignment plan (Hebrew: תוכנית ההתכנסות) (originally dubbed the convergence plan) was a plan by Israel to unilaterally disengage from 90% of the West Bank and annex the rest, incorporating most Israeli settlements into Israel.
