Jul 26, 2023 · Nurtec SAVED MY LIFE THIS VERY MORNING!!! I had a work presentation at 10am, so of course i woke up with a rapidly growing migraine. I took my Nurtec at 7:30am and closed my eyes until 9:30am - This magic pill took my migraine from a escalating 7 to a manageable 3 and for me that is a MIRACLE! 🙌

Dec 11, 2021 · Pharmacy tech here (well used to be a pharmacy tech and working on trying to get my license back after I let it expire). Alot of times drug manufacturers choose a particular flavor as it masks the medicine flavor the best, though sadly alot of flavors are very gross lol! Where the mint flavored nurtec is awful, maybe cherry would have been worse.

Oct 20, 2021 · Nurtec So I swear by my sumatriptan shots but my insurance refuses to pay for more than 16 cartons within 75 days, even after my doctor send a prior authorization. My pharmacist recommended trying Nurtec and my doctor sent in 18 75 mg pills to take when I feel the migraine coming on.

Nurtec has given me no side effects other than possibly this anxiety and I was starting to call it a miracle drug until I realized my anxiety started around the same time I started Nurtec. I’m following up with neuro in a couple weeks and will definitely bring it up but just wanted to see if any of you have experienced this with CGRP inhibitors.

We are currently fighting the appeal process but we've paid over $1,800 over the past 2 months to keep her using it.
