Aug 24, 2023 · Next summer (June 2024) we would like to travel to Northern Italy. I know it will probably be hot but since my wife is a teacher that is the only time we can travel. We can allocate about 14-16 days for this trip but that's about it. We took Rick's 17-day Italy tour about 12 years ago and absolutely loved it and would like to duplicate parts of it.

Jan 22, 2009 · We are going to Italy on our honeymoon this September and flying in to Milan. We want to go to as many of the big sites in Northern Italy as possible. We are thinking about 2 nights in Lake Como, 2 nights in Venice, 2 nights in Florence and 2 nights in Cinque Terre. This would all be by train. Is this possible or even suggested?

Jun 27, 2013 · Then 3 in Venice, 3 in Tuscany and 3 in Cinque Terre, and maybe one night in Milan (or mabye Lake Orta) -- so a very similar Northern Italy itinerary. In 10 days I would skip Lake Como but visit Lake Garda on the way to Castelrotto and stay two nights there with round trip to Cortina on the one full day you would have.

Jan 11, 2025 · My 16YO daughter and I will be traveling to Italy June 2025, and I am looking for feedback and advice for a 10-12 day itinerary. Since it is a Jubilee year, we wish to avoid Rome, and want to spend relatively little time in Florence, even though I think it might be best to arrive via FLR. I really dislike large crowds.

London--April 2023, was there after Edinburgh and before Amsterdam. Point of the trip was to see the tulips in Amsterdam which bloom starting at the end of March.
