Feb 19, 2024 · NCEES in general seems to have gone downhill over the past several years. Their primary focus these days seems to be extracting as much money as possible from engineers. I suspect their leadership has transitioned from engineers to MBAs.

Dec 29, 2021 · Definitely take the NCEES practice exam. The FS was more math intensive and the PS was geared towards the practice of surveying. The only math problem I remember from the PS was a horizontal curve staking problem. There were several problems on floodplains and elevation certificates.
NCEES Credentials Evaluation : r/PE_Exam - Reddit
Jul 3, 2023 · According to the NCEES Engineering Education Standard, a total of 32 college semester credit hours in Math/Science is required, with at least two courses in basic sciences. For me, I seal my own work product, supervise junior engineers, and am licensed in 20+ states, it dawned on my last week that I didn't need NCEES to approve anything anymore.
NCEES Record Work Experience Trouble : r/civilengineering - Reddit
May 25, 2019 · I am in the process of applying to Nevada for my PE and they require an NCEES record as the main application. I have everything squared away except for the experience. My trouble is rooted in their separation of Tasks and Duties and Projects and how to break-up the information without repeating it. I submitted my experience for their review and ...
NCEES record system - Engineer Business Practices and Issues
Aug 26, 2016 · NCEES is currently holding a meeting so hopefully someone can talk some sense into them. I refuse to believe that an organization run by engineers would think this system was acceptable. The only good news is, once setup, the new records system is better than the old one and doesn't have a yearly fee.
