LabVIEW drivers are part of the base driver installation. The drivers that work on the A model should also work on the B model – the N9020A and N9020B are code-compatible. The drivers usually have a switch to choose whether or not to do instrument ID checking, so if the drivers do not recognize the N9020B, you can turn off the ID checking.

So, the MXA N9020A is both a VSA and swept-tuned analyzer. The MXA N9020A has now been discontinued, but you can learn more about the current version, the MXA N9020B Signal Analyzer, or any of the currently available Spectrum Analyzers on the Keysight website. There are advantages to both swept-tuned analysis and to vector analysis.

I am connecting to an N9020B via the USB interface and running a Python script that does screen captures to a USB drive using the MMEM:STOR:SCR <filename> command. As far as I can tell, there is no way to copy the screen captures back to the PC via USB interface but I would like to verify that the file was created correctly.
