Dec 8, 2021 · MIB2 is not specific enough to find proper firmware. There's MIB2 High (MHI2 = Discover Pro) and MIB2 Standard (MST2 = Discover Media and Composition Media).

Oct 16, 2023 · They support the 9.2" display (requires a G13 software train). Note that there is a Chinese MST2 unit that supports the 9.2" display but it seems that is the only MST2 unit that does. The Chinese units do not have the other MIB2.5 features. Navigation maps are stored to internal memory rather than an SD card.

I'm trying to update to P0635D/MU 0757 to fix some random lock ups/stalls for 10+ seconds then quickly rushes through all touch inputs, and phantom inputs that I've ruled out is not the touchscreen itself.

Aug 13, 2023 · Unplug the MDI port. There are 2 cables; Your new USB port has the same 4 pin plug as the MDI port. Except for it has an additional 2 pins on the top. These are to charge your phone. As long as you got the female end of the plug in addition to the USB port, you'll be in great shape. Open the little purple door, and slide out the cable end.

Since all Golfs, GTIs, and possibly other MIB2 head units are made by Delphi, this map update should be compatible with most, if not all, North American VW owners who have navigation with their MIB2 equipped vehicle.
