Apr 9, 2024 · The M10 has a gun called the M7'', which shoots a similar shell to the M18 or 76 Sherman. So it would have higher pen than the 75mm M3 GMC or M4A1. Maybe a longer reload for it. But similar power level to the M24, just more utility against infantry with a fifty cal. I was thinking the ability is a time-based HE boost like the Sherman has.

Jan 7, 2019 · Per Hunnicutt, most M6 GMC's had their guns removed & were used as regular 3/4-ton trucks, especially after numbers of M10 tank destroyers and 57mm towed AT guns started arriving in theater to replace the M6's in the TD battalions. What happened to those hundreds of dismounted 37mm AT guns is anyone's guess.
