May 8, 2020 · I'm currently on the search for a complete Benelli M4 trigger group. Every location online appears to be out of stock. I was wondering if the M1, M2, M3 trigger group is the same as the M4, and if they are interchangeable? They look very similar, but since I'm not physically comparing the two, its hard to tell.

Sep 1, 2013 · Here the Carrier Spring and the Carrier Plunger are installed. Pay attention to the highlighted spring stop. This must be next to the Breech Latch, or the Trigger Group will not function. The Carrier Plunger & Spring are simply held in place by the Carrier. If you allow the Trigger Group to move around too much, it will simply fall out.

Sep 1, 2013 · If the Trigger is still being pulled to the rear, the Hammer Hook will engage the Disconnector's sear. If the Trigger has been released, the Hammer will disconnect from the Disconnector's sear and be caught by the sear on the front of the Trigger. To help visualize what is happening, make sure your M4 is empty.

Yesterday, after waiting nearly 2 years for notification from Midwest Gun Works that they received/back in stock of Benelli M4 Trigger group(oem polymer housing)..I immediately went to order one but they had already sold out in just 20 minutes!!!

Sep 1, 2013 · Benelli has been shipping out M4's with plastic trigger housings for about a year and a half now. There is only one area that is different for the disassembly guide. The carrier plunger inserts into a washer that is inserted into the side of the trigger group. After removing the carrier plunger/spring assembly, you can pull the washer out easily.

Sep 11, 2012 · There have been some questions about how difficult it is to disassemble the trigger group of the Benelli M4 in order to install a US made hammer, disconnector and trigger. The difficulty level of this job depends on what tools you have on hand. With the wrong equipment, plan on swearing a lot.

Apr 10, 2020 · The trigger group is tight at the rear closest to the stock. As I said its tight on the sides it fits better front to back. If I am a little off of the takedown hole its not a huge hassle to get it lined up but even that takes multiple tries to get right (2 or 3), eventually it all lines up.

Sep 1, 2013 · I don't know why Benelli started using plastic trigger housings but lets just say they don't hold up to heat very well, which led me to having to rebuild the entire fire control group. If it weren't for the info in this thread, I would have been screwed.
