Luzhou (Chinese: 泸州; pinyin: Lúzhōu; Sichuanese Pinyin: Nu 2 zou 1; Luzhou dialect: [nu˨˩tsəu˥]) is a prefecture-level city located in the southeast of Sichuan Province, China. It is also known as the "Liquor City" (酒城).

Luzhou stands in the southeast of Sichuan Province, at the convergence of Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan and Guizhou. It is bordered by Chongqing and Chengdu to the east and the north. It also shares boundaries to the south with Guizhou Province and to the west with Yunnan Province.

Known for its long history, rich culture, and famous liquor industry, Luzhou sits at the confluence of the Yangtze and Tuo Rivers. It is often referred to as the "Liquor City" because it is home to one of China’s most renowned baijiu distilleries, Luzhou Laojiao.

Luzhou is a river port at the junction of the Yangtze River (Chang Jiang) and the Tuo River. Its communications were further improved during World War II, when a highway was built south across the mountains to Kunming in Yunnan province to connect Sichuan to the Burma Road.
