Jan 8, 2008 · But the R6/R6.2 cameras are also very well made - BTW, the only "usable" difference between them is the R6.2 is a stop faster than the R6 (2000 top stutter speed vs. 1000, respectively). IMHO, the R6/R6.2 cameras were the best incarnation of any of Leica's SLR cameras since the SL/SL2.

Aug 1, 2003 · I had 2 R6.2 and 1 R7, first R6.2's mirror fell off its hinges and second one jammed on the 7th frame, out of the box. Both brand new USA. R7 bought used in mint conditon, developed a flakey meter and required $400 for a circuit board replacement.
