Jan 30, 2010 · If you cant find any lamp oil or kerosene in an emergency, you can use charcoal lighter fluid. It works ok in standard non-pressurized oil lamps with wick. I suspect if you cant find wicks or other lamp parts locally, you will have to order online or some snailmail catalog.

Dec 23, 2011 · Very odd - I've been using that Florasense lamp oil from Wal-Mart with no problems whatsoever. I've used it in dozens of oil lamps and lanterns, of various wick sizes, with no issues at all.
