Jun 8, 2017 · i had the last cheap ls1 intake i found back when they were almost being given away. I used ls4 rails on it because ls4 intakes are pretty close to free. If i bought every $20-75 ls1 intake on the forums back when and started selling them now i could buy a hellcat with the profits. They were literally almost worthless. Now they are $400.

Fun trivia - the throttle body from a Vortec 5.7 is the same bolt pattern as LS1 but with a smaller bore and a different cable attachment. And when you keep calling around trying to get a throttle body from an 6.0 van, and they keep sending 5.7 throttle bodies instead, it becomes much easier to just buy a new throttle body from Summit for like ...

Dec 23, 2024 · Before I cross the point of no return in replacing the 302, I want to make sure there is an intake manifold that will fit under the stock Volvo P1800 hood. I found this drawing for a Holley manifold with some numbers. While this might answer my question, the price is a bit scary. Any one seen a similar drawing for the LS1 2 or 6 manifolds?

Mar 31, 2019 · LS3 is installed in the TR8. Just about finished adapting a Corvette LS7 K&N fresh air filter setup down in front of the radiator. Had to cut out the front cross tube behind the bumper and relocate it slightly and also need to make a new lower radiator support to drop the rad another 1/2". The stock LS3 92mm intake points straight ahead.

I am plannning on running an Z06/LS6 cam, heads, intake and tune to net me around 375 rwhp (up from about 300rwhp) and will ad roughly $1000 to the cost and raise my redline to 7k all while keeping "stock" reliability.
