The London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) Kitson 0-4-0ST was a class of 0-4-0 saddle tank steam locomotive designed for light shunting.

The London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) gave the locomotives the power classification 0F. In total sixty were made between 1886 and 1910. They were built for use in sharply curved sidings for shunting duties. The Pugs were allocated by the L&YR for operation in the industrial areas and docks of Fleetwood, Goole, Liverpool and Salford.

The LMS Kitson 0-4-0ST or Kitson 0F was a class of 0-4-0 saddle tank steam locomotive designed for light shunting. Five were designed and built by Kitson & Co. of Leeds to LMS specification in 1932 and numbered 1500–1504.

These small shunters remained in long service under the LMS (who gave all Neilson saddle locomotives the power class 0F, shared by many other types) and British Railways, with the last of the class withdrawn in 1962.

On 5 July 1963, one of the driving wheels of locomotive 51232 sheared off at Salford. Both of the preserved members of this class are owned by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Trust.

British Rail's Horwich Works built 5 more of these in 1953-1954. The LMS operated the 5 locomotives they ordered in 1932 in industrial settings, although some wound up on Derbyshire's Cromford & High Peak Railway.
