The Allenby/King Hussein border crossing is 57 kilometres from Amman, located in the southern Jordan Valley. You can access entry via a bridge that crosses the Jordan River near the city of Jericho, connecting the West Bank with Jordan. The Allenby Bridge Terminal is operated by the Israel Airports Authority.

TruthtellerTraveler6, I responded to your other thread but for other travelers edification, you can get a visa at the KHB border crossing when crossing from Israel into Jordan. I called the border crossing a few minutes ago to confirm.

If you would like to cross the border from Israel to Jordan, the Allenby Crossing can be a good option. It’s also known as the King Hussein Bridge crossing, and sits between Jerusalem and Jordan. This border crossing between Israel and Jordan is less frequently used by tourists.

Mar 7, 2022 · my office contacted KHB today and that's what they were told by border guard. I only guess that Jordan side of border allows 2-3 hours for a traveler to exit the other side of borders. that probably explains the time difference?

I am undecided if to cross into Jordan from Israel thorugh Sheik Hussein border corssing, or through KHB. Currently inclining to KHB as we'll be coming from Jerusalem and this would be the shortest way.
