
Current Production Kahr P380 / CW380. Are they reliable?
Jun 25, 2023 · Muzzle to muzzle, the Kahr looks smaller on paper. In the hand, because it's blocky, it is like the one time in gun size comparison where it doesn't matter. the rear of the Kahr is just more blocky. Oct 5, 2010 · The trigger guard on the Ruger LCP also seems to be bigger than Kahr 380, so I am able to get a little better grip on the Kahr. Other than that, the price on the Ruger LCP is better obviously. Neither is an ideal range gun, but if you plan on doing quite a bit of shooting with it, I would go with the Kahr 380.

Nov 19, 2019 · Whenever you go as small as a P380, you’re giving up control for follow up shots and comfort. I find the Interarms Walther PPK/S and Sig Sauer P 238 380 ACP to be the most comfortable 380 ACP pistols I have owned.

Jun 24, 2009 · But after Kahr returned them to me, both were 100% with 6 round magazines with all ammo tried. The 7 round mag was 100% with my SD ammo (Precision One), and my preferred HPR and American Eagle range ammo. The "used" P380 was what I grabbed for deep concealment and to run out the door to the store.

Jun 5, 2014 · The Kahr trigger is so much different than the Glock. For carry purposes, I love my Kahr P380, the trigger has a long pull similar to a smooth DAO revolver. I am a big fan of the Kahr trigger. As far as the Glock goes, as JohnTom mentioned the Glock is much easier to rack than the Kahr so that is another consideration.

Jun 4, 2023 · My Kahr P380:took about 500 rounds ro settle in, including a new RSA from Kahr, which offered great response. I remember feeling the gun finally “settle in”. It was dramatic and has been without hiccups since. Very pro-Kahr as my EDC, which now is a CW9.

Mar 11, 2023 · Thanks for the info. In researching the Kahr P380, I have found that most folks believe it to be a well built, highly reliable handgun. Just found it odd that a brand new P380 goes for around $600 to $800 depending on the configuration on GB. An older, pre owned P380 goes for anywhere between $250 to $400 on GB.

Jul 4, 2012 · The Kahr P380 is a little over an ounce lighter than the S&W bodyguard, but I wonder if having a nicer Kahr trigger and shaving an extra ounce is worth the extra +$150 or so in cost. I was critical of the Bodyguard in the past, but its been out for a while and I'm hoping all the bugs have been fixed.
