Ka Ryo Ten is a survival genius to have survived for so long in her childhood without relatives since she was orphaned at a young age of five. She is an incredibly inquisitive young woman armed with keen perceptive fit her due to her former rough lifestyle.

Ten survived in Kokuhi Village by ratting out passing travelers to thugs. When Shin is running for Kokuhi Village, Ten alerts the outlaws there, yet seems intrigued when Shin easily defeats them, and, in exchange for promises of wealth, she agrees to help Shin and Ei Sei escape from the army that surrounds them.

Early teenage Karyo Ten is pretty great actually. Current Ten is only annoying with her constant sweating and uneasiness when it comes to strategy. I think she tends to lack confidence in herself in battle with the hi shin unit.
