Iveco S.p.A., an acronym for Industrial Vehicles Corporation, [1] is an Italian multinational transport vehicle manufacturing company with headquarters in Turin, Italy. It designs and builds light, medium, and heavy commercial vehicles. The name IVECO first appeared in 1975 after a merger of Italian, French, and German brands. [2]

Vision, strategy and perserverance, these are the foundations upon which Iveco (Industrial Vehicles Corporation) is built on January 1 st 1975. The "I" square displayed alongside the original brands is replaced by an extended Iveco logo. In 1982, the Iveco logo is moved to the center of the grille.

IVECO was established as the result of the merger of five truck brands within the Fiat Group: Fiat, OM and Lancia of Italy, Unic of France and Magirus Deutz of Germany.

The Iveco Daily is a large van produced by Iveco from 1978, in was sold also as Fiat Daily until 1983. It is also available as a minibus. The first series Daily was offered with two models, the 35 and the 50 (3.5 and 5.0 tons). The larger one (Daily 50) had load capacity up to 17 m³.
