May 21, 2020 · Like the setup, unlike the police world, I found that the straps really do help especially for Lorne, breaking brush, and just regular grunt shit. However, you may not get as much range time but once you’ll do you’ll face those mags the other way, but since you’re not running a pistol setup the beer and grip is more than fine.

Nov 2, 2016 · Same same. I have to wear a FLC all the time now and almost never an IOTV. I hate the issued FLCs, so I bought one from Condor. Has a camelback sleeve and all the mag pouches are built in. I don't carry mags like ever though either, so I don't actually know how well it will hold up with a full combat load.

Try it on at home and see how you like the placement of pouches, make sure you can reach everything, etc. Once you get some field time in you'll start to develop your own ideas on where stuff should go.
