These tie rod ends are very simple to remove, just slacken the nut right off and hit the steering lever or whichever it fits into and hit it smartly with a medium hammer, the shock will release the taper and it won't damage the lever.

You should also check out your tie rod ends which also get loose. I went through this on one of my TO30's last year, the play was all in the steering box and just needed adjustment.
