The Harley-Davidson VRSC (V-twin racing street custom), or V-Rod, is a line of V-twin cruiser motorcycles made by Harley-Davidson from 2002 until 2017. They are often called muscle bikes for their relatively high power output.

Dec 17, 2023 · There were two major engine generations for the Harley-Davidson V-Rod. They’re called the 1130 and 1250 generations colloquially. Both generations of Revolution engine are 60-degree liquid-cooled V-twins with dual overhead cams and four valves per cylinder.

The 1,130cc V-Twin engine is water-cooled, a first for Harley-Davidson. A sophisticated sequential fuel injection system feeds through a pair of 53mm throttle bodies and supplies each of the four-valve cylinder heads.
