Jun 12, 2010 · The very first SR9 rifles shipped with the black polymer HK 911 Bell & Carlson thumb hole stock furniture and a set of black HK 91 furniture. Later SR9 models shipped with the same thumb hole stock but were painted in the wood …
HK SR9 anyone? - HKPRO Forums
Jan 8, 2009 · The first SR9s were imported with the wood grain thumbhole stocks. After that, HK switched to black thumbhole stocks. Soon after that HK (for a very short time) included a 91 stock set in the box with the SR9. This 91 stock set was not mounted to the gun, and the buttstock was plastic only, no receiver cap, buffer, or recoil rod.

Nov 3, 2020 · I purchased NOS Hk PSG-1 Stock, Pistol grip and Trigger pack, changed the forearm out to a Hk-91 with a Hk Lite Bipod. I also was able to procure from the KIWI SAS-New Zealand a PSG-1 Scope and Tripod when they were decommissioning their Hk PSG-1's. The stock, in your pic, IMO is a Hk PSG-1, as Magpul's version has a different buttplate/pad.

Mar 27, 2024 · I do not think the sr9’s used the Albert&Duval French cannon barrel steel plus the additional production steps hk mentions in their literature. Same assembly using different materials. I assume you can wear out a sr9 from long term heavy use. Hk g-3/91 are noted for beings almost impossible to shoot out

Apr 3, 2012 · The SR9 series isn't particularly iconic or collectible to my mind -- I suppose I'd pay a tad more for a factory marked SR9TC with all original parts than an equal condition SR9 where the TC parts were added after. But to me - they are ballpark the same value. Then again -- I suppose there IS something to the SR9 and SP89 being "Made in W. Germany"

Sep 14, 2010 · Re: H K SR9 Actually, that price is not very good at all for a base model HK SR9 (thumbhole stock, etc.). Your description above doesn't give the specifics of the rifle in terms of which stock, mags, etc., are included but $4,000 is into the range of a true, HK factory produced SR9-T (which has the MSG-90 buttstock and PSG-1 wood grip).

Jun 11, 2008 · The SR9 manual should have a PSG-1 trigger warning sticker on it. The model number hand stamping should be a similar size and type to known authentic rifles. I've been shopping these rifles, and unless there is documentation from …

Jan 10, 2001 · Andrew, if this is the case then the stamp on my rifle would appear to be be one possibly used by HK, if considering the "T" and the "TC" stamp both were in fact about 80% smaller than the SR9 stamp. Either way, as Toku said in an earlier post, "the addition of the MSG-90 stock and the PSG-1 trigger pack" gives the gun added value.
Is the SR9 more accurate than a 91 - HKPRO Forums
Nov 21, 2007 · Hk designed the SR9 with 168 grain ammo in mind. The HK 91/G3 was intended to use 147 gain NATO ammo. That is the reason why some get great accuracy in their 91s with cheap Federal 147 grain stuff, and they are not please with the 168 grain match ammo. I had Urbach take an SR9 barrel and thread the end some years ago for a PSG1-K project I was ...

Aug 11, 2010 · Actually, the HK 911 shipped with the exact same thumb hole stock as the SR9. The only difference between the wood grain SR9 stock and the black HK 911 stock is the paint. So, it would make sense that the very first SR9s were shipped with the HK 911 black stock. I have both and there's no difference except color.
