The 9mm and .45 triggers are actually slightly different and the .45 match trigger has a super short reset.

Jun 17, 2010 · I recently acquired four of the HK model P9s pistols (two in 9mm and two in 45 cal) because I so admire the operating system, which is similar to my HK 91 rifle. In looking the guns over they are fine quality, and in my view will be worth the time and effort to become proficient in their operation; the cocking lever and so forth.

Jan 10, 2016 · I have wanted a P9 model which is the predecessor to the P9S. The P9 is a true SAO pistol. The P9S is a DA/SA pistol. Even the P9S Sport Group models are actually DA/SA although the overtravel stop blocks DA use. Many of the P9 models were factory built or converted during the transition period to the DA/SA trigger of the P9S.

Sep 28, 2013 · I have recently started collecting Sport/Target model H&K P9S. The first is an IF date code P9S Target/Sport in 9mm and the second is a KE date code P9S Sport Group III in .45. Both have the adjustable target trigger but I've noticed that there are differences in the target trigger that I don't think that I've seen mentioned before.
