May 27, 2013 · The Viridian X5L is much brighter... much brighter at 154 Lumens vs the C5L's 100 Lumens (Which doesn't sound like much but it's more concentrated in a diamond shape pattern so it's distinctly brighter).

Nov 24, 2009 · Viridian X5L: I almost hate adding anything to the P30 as I love the styling and adding a tactical light/laser hides the rail. The X5L does look good on the pistol if you like the "hollywood look". It does go out slightly past the rail, but still looks good. The laser is super bright.

Feb 1, 2018 · The X5L is the same size as the TLR-1, made to fit same holsters. That means it's really too long for the P30. I use the TLR-1 on my P30L with threaded barrel and the light sticks out barely a hair more than the barrel with thread & crown protector but is pretty much perfect.
