Dom. white X Silver laced: White with plenty of black leakage, lots of it probably closer to the tip of the feather. Dom. white X Golden laced: Some white, but tons of gold leakage and some black. If you roo is recessive white: No way to tell.

I didn’t realize that the lavender wasn’t a dominant gene, so I was quite sad when all three babies hatched black. I have two hens and one rooster now. See pics below. I know that Polish are very tough to sex ---- is it too early to hope that the "wattle-less" Polish are female? Would a roo develop his wattles later than this? All five of the gold-laced in the bunch have "messy" hair, but not spiky. Could they still be roos?

No dominant behavior, actually one of the more "stand-offish" of the group of 8. Pretty sure our other 7 are hens. Thanks for any suggestions. We've just moved to an area where a roo may be more tolerated so not the end of the world.
