what to do before genichiro. : r/Sekiro - Reddit
Sep 8, 2022 · Genichiro is for me the hardest boss in the game, not because hes super complex, but because you need to improve a lot to beat him. Late game bosses are obviously more difficult, but by that time you'll be much better at the game.
Where to go after beating Genichiro? : r/Sekiro - Reddit
Short answer since there doesn't seem to be one yet, the typical location to go at your point would be to Senpou Temple to get the Mortal Blade before exploring the other areas (which you can do, but it's gonna be harder).
Super specific tips for anyone stuck on Genichiro : r/Sekiro - Reddit
Mar 27, 2019 · Genichiro will draw his bow. This move has great tracking so you need good timing. If you count to 3 seconds and dodge on the 3 his arrow will always miss. Opener - Genichiro always opens with two bow shots, which can be deflected or blocked and a roll followed by an overhead swing which should be parried.
Was Genichiro Ashina really that hard? : r/Sekiro - Reddit
Before this fight. I dodged way more than deflected. I would play defensively and wait for openings. I probably tried seven spears a dozen times before genichiro. After genichiro, I stomped his face to the ground immediately. Same with the guy in the reservoir. The time I killed him I had all 5 potions going into phase 3.

As others have said, Genichiro is legitimately a skill check. You CANNOT beat him until you learn how to successfully parry and embrace the shinobi style of "offense is the best defense". Finally beating Genichiro and realizing that I didn't get lucky, but actually improved as a player, is easily one of my top moments in gaming.

Should i fight Genichiro now or kill the folding screen monkeys and guardian ape first. This is my first playthrough. Also how much health/attack power/ healing is optimal for this boss.
Everything possible before Genichiro : r/Sekiro - Reddit
Apr 18, 2019 · For the prosthetic upgrades specifically, you can obtain all everything except Fulminated Mercury before Genichiro, though some rarer upgrades are in set quantities. For example, Adamantite Scrap can be acquired pre-Genichiro, but you're limited to just 6 from around Mibu Village.
Can’t beat Genichiro’s arrows .. help : r/Sekiro - Reddit
Jun 25, 2019 · Genichiro is the first real skill check in this game. He exists to make sure you are playing the way the game was intended. So if you've gotten by without learning how to properly deflect and manage your posture up to this point, then yes you will struggle hard on him. If he's shooting arrows at you that often then you are playing way too ...
