Jan 20, 2021 · There are three ways. The barrel shroud. If the barrel shroud has 2 rings, the upper is a Gen 2. The barrel shroud profile is also different.

Nov 22, 2013 · The Gen 1 has a different hammer pack and optic that make it more desirable, same goes for the Gen 2 and 3 when compared to the new Gen 4 in terms of hammer packs. As far as the differences between generations, Fnforum.net has a write up in their ps90 section covering the differences.

Nov 16, 2016 · You'll need to buy a ps90 bullet button and a barrel extension or buttstock extension. Best guess.... The excitement over trigger packs kind of dampened after aluminum replacement Gen I Hammers became available. Now for around $70 you can convert a Gen III Trigger pack to a Gen I configuration.

Jun 22, 2024 · it looks the same as mine and mine is in the 073XXX serial number range. check for the "shelf" to differentiate between gen 2-3 (the difference between pic 3 and pic 5 in the link i posted)

Feb 28, 2015 · The only way you can tell if a PS90 has a Gen2, Gen3, or Gen4 pack is to take down the rifle, take the pack out, and look at it and compare it to the link that JHS 27275 posted in post #9. Hammer(Trigger) pack sticky

Jun 13, 2012 · Gen 1 to Gen 2: Old, black P90 style pack body to the gray pack body. Some Gen 2s get the gray semi sear. Gen 2 to Gen 3: Black hammer replaced with gray (or sometimes white) hammer and all semi sears are now gray.
