A friendly family annual non-profit event, to unite the community of Gedling for local charities.

The Gala has been held every summer in Willow Park since 1977, where it’s a fun entertaining family day out, that raises money for local charities. It attracts on average 2,500 visitors every year, and the numbers keep growing as the event gets more exciting.

Jul 6, 2024 · The annual Gedling Gala is a great day out for the local family, to raise money for local charities selected by the public, with live events from local groups, fairground rides, bouncy castles, a market, food & refreshments, plus so much more.

Mar 5, 2025 · The Gedling Gala is a not-for-profit event run by locals and takes place every summer in the village’s Willow Park – but it has now been been announced it won’t be going ahead this year due to a lack of help.

Jun 19, 2024 · The Gala starts at midday and runs till 4.30pm at Willow Park, Gedling on July 6. With arena entertainment, fairground rides, an inflatable assault course, lots of craft and charity stalls, cakes, catering and ice-cream, there’ll be something for everyone.
