GAB2 - Wikipedia
GAB2 is a docking protein with a conserved, folded PH domain attached to the membrane and a large disordered region, which hosts interactions with signaling molecules. It is a member of the GAB/DOS family localized on the internal membrane of the cell.

Dec 25, 2024 · GAB2 (GRB2 Associated Binding Protein 2) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with GAB2 include Noonan Syndrome-Like Disorder With Loose Anagen Hair 1 and Childhood Angiosarcoma. Among its related pathways are Insulin receptor signalling cascade and FLT3 signaling in disease.
Gab2 (Grb2-Associated Binder2) Plays a Crucial Role in …
Apr 8, 2021 · Gab2 (Grb2-associated binder2) silencing or deficiency inhibits TNFα (tumor necrosis factor alpha)-induced, IL (interleukin)-1β–induced, or lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced proinflammatory responses in endothelial cells.
Structure and function of Gab2 and its role in cancer (Review)
Gab2, a key member of the Gab family of proteins, is involved in the amplification and integration of signal transduction, evoked by a variety of extracellular stimuli, including growth factors, cytokines and antigen receptors.
GAB2--a scaffolding protein in cancer - PubMed
GAB2 is essential for two major signal transduction pathways in cancer, the PI3-K-AKT and extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) signaling pathways, and thus regulates a number of key cellular processes.
GAB2 GRB2 associated binding protein 2 [ (human)] - National …
GAB2 is the limiting component of the GAB2-SHP2 complex, signaling Erk MAP kinase activation and terminal differentiation of K562 CML cells. The docking protein Gab2 is overexpressed and estrogen regulated in human breast cancer.
Gab2 growth factor receptor bound protein 2-associated protein …
Feb 8, 2025 · Gab2 promotes the growth of colorectal cancer by regulating the M2 polarization of tumor-associated macrophages. The Gab2-MALT1 axis regulates thromboinflammation and deep vein thrombosis. Inhibition of GAB2 expression has a protective effect on osteoarthritis:An in vitro and in vivo study.
Gab2 Promotes Colony-Stimulating Factor 1-Regulated …
Mechanistically, we demonstrate a key role for the combined actions of Gab2-regulated PI3K-Akt and SHP2-extracellular signal-regulated kinase (Erk) axes in the expansion of MNP progenitors. Gab2 deficiency also reduces the mitogenic response to CSF-1 …
Gab2 - SpringerLink
Gab2 functions to mediate the activation of critical cell signaling pathways by multiple cell surface receptors for growth factors, cytokines, antigens, and immunoglobulins (Fig. 2).
Gab2, a New Pleckstrin Homology Domain-containing Adapter …
We describe a novel human adapter molecule containing a pleckstrin homolgy (PH) domain at the N terminus that is closely related to human G rb2- a ssociated b inder 1, Gab1, and Drosophila daughter of sevenless. We designate this protein as Gab2.
