Die sizes of Nvidia Gaming GPUs : r/nvidia - Reddit
Sep 23, 2022 · Each GPU is dated from when the first GeForce card with that GPU was released. What's notable to me this generation is the big gap between AD103 and AD102, and the small gap between AD104 and AD103. AD103 feels a bit on a weird place, too close to AD104 and too far from AD102.
Repasted my 3070Ti GPU-Die without replacing pads : …
Dec 8, 2023 · Simply repasting my GPU Die without touching the pads resulted in a 10°-12° drop of the overall temperature and reduced the delta between Hotspot and Main Temp from ~25° to 10°-12°. Old temps in this setting were around 76°-80°, with Hotspot no lower than 90° and typically between 95° and 100°.
What is "die size" when it comes to GPUs? : r/OutOfTheLoop
Jun 12, 2015 · Die size is the square inchage of silicon the logic takes up, which (in turn) is determined by the pitch, or how small the logic gates are etched. Smaller pitch = smaller die size. Smaller pitch = smaller die size.
Did i just scratch my GPU DIE? If so, am i okay? : r/NiceHash - Reddit
Jan 24, 2022 · Already did it, typing to you as I use this GPU that I applied to paste too. I have to wait for 2mm thermal pads to replace. Because the pads I ordered were a bit too thick. So TEMPs is fine for my GPU CORE, its just the hotspot reaches somewhat high. But, that's only because the pads isn't making my GPU DIE touch the heatsink properly.
Did my GPU die? : r/buildapc - Reddit
Feb 23, 2023 · Get into windows and try to run a stress test on the graphics card or use a monitoring software like gpu-z or hwmonitor to take a look at the sensor data from the GPU. Furthermore, use DDU to cleanly uninstall all Nvidia drivers and install the current version. After that, try to use the GPU for picture out and see if anything has changed.
How does a GPU die? : r/buildapc - Reddit
Upgraded graphics drivers that result in higher GPU utilization and framerates than has ever been possible with the card. Resulting in instability due to higher heat levels, and manuf overclock settings out of the box being unstable with the newer drivers due to higher utilization and the fact that the manufacture never did stability testing ...
does a gpu die suddenly, with no indicators - Reddit
Dec 12, 2022 · Generally speaking, a GPU will show signs of age before dying, such as stability issues or artifacts. That's not to say a GPU can't just die out of the blue for whatever reasons. I would assume the former is more indicative of what generally happens.
Kryosheet vs Thermal Paste in GPU application. : r/overclocking
May 22, 2023 · I repasted the GPU 5 times already, with alphacool or thermal grizzly compounds (Any, I have tried the high tiers), the paste seems to dry out very quickly on the right top of the die, then you can observe after about 8-12 days the hot spot temps incresing, then the card triggering the thermal limits and shutting down when the card hits 115 ...

Opinions on GPU DIE-only waterblocks nowadays? : …
I know its gonna be ugly, but well, gpu only blocks on like ebay and aliexpress work perfectly fine and even tho the coldplate is rather crude, gpu die temps were perfectly acceptable within 40-50 degrees on the rx580 with modded vbios for 200w powerdraw.
