May 19, 2024 · To me it seems like there was all of a sudden a ton of American locomotives in Britain around this time. Examples: Lynton and Barnstaple Railway ‘Lyn.’ Midland Railway 2501. GNR H1. I read about it having something to do with strikes therefore British locomotive manufacturers being unable to make locomotives, but who specifically was striking?
