Jan 16, 2024 · those are all Paveway II family bombs and use laser guidance, except the GBU-8 which uses TV guidance. very nice bombs. the only difference really is the explosive yield for each of them. the GBU-10 is a 2000lb bomb but the 12 and 16 consist of a 500lb and 1000lb bomb.

Unfortunately with the harrier you have to set the laser codes on the ground for the Akpws and GBU 12/16s if it’s a Ai JTAC it could be on a code that’s completely different to your laser code. With a human JTAC they would switch there designator to your weapon system code.
