May 21, 2008 · FYI, through June (so time's tight I realize) the City of Folsom is offering $125 rebates towards new low-flow toilets that replace old ones. Our 19-year old toilets were 5 gallon toilets. We bought $139 1.8 gallon toilets at Lowe's to replace them. If you're handy you can remove, install yourself. It would save a lot of water.

Jul 18, 2018 · My family is from Pilot Hill, which is at the top end of the "peninsula" part of Folsom Lake. Folsom is about a 20 minute drive away, depending on choice of roads. I have seen Folsom change ALOT over the years. It grew TONS in the housing boom of the mid-2000s. It used to be a somewhat small-ish city which has grown into a big suburbia-land.

For swimming, I prefer going to Folsom because the warmer water just makes it more pleasant. For water skiing, I tend to prefer the smoother water along the Sacramento River in the Delta. Jan 12, 2007 · Folsom has a very charming downtown from the Gold Rush era. It even has a zoo. Good shopping. Community swimming pools etc. Folsom also has light rail commuter trains to Downtown Sacramento. Lots of water around Folsom with the big dam and Folsom lake as well as the American River.
