Fenian Ram is a submarine designed by John Philip Holland for use by the Fenian Brotherhood, the American counterpart to the Irish Republican Brotherhood, against the British. The Fenian Ram was the world's first practical submarine.

The Fenian Ram was 30 feet long and had a diameter of 6 feet, tapering to a point at the ends. She was built by Delamater Iron Works and was driven by a single propeller by means of a gasoline engine.

An astute observer of nature, Holland strove to imitate the form of a porpoise in his submarines, of which he designed six, with only the Holland I and Fenian Ram (Holland II) surviving, both on permanent exhibition at the Paterson Museum.
