Aug 1, 2020 · Depends on what you want, flight time, performance, etc. On a fishing drone I use two 5400mah 14.8 4s batteries. I use just one for general use, and a 5S sometimes. Do a search for motorcalc, and you can "try out" different equipment to get the results you want.

Nov 23, 2021 · Yup. The problem for me is knowing where to start. A lot of the tuning videos I've seen already have the drone up in the air and not shaking like a leaf. Like, it's flying, but it could be better. In my case I couldn't get it off the ground it was shaking so much. I'm looking for a guide to tune when the drone is in an unflyable state.

Aug 23, 2023 · Going from zero to a heavy lift drone, is difficult. Especially if you haven't built a drone before, even a basic build needs configuring and fine tuning. Build a smaller quad first, DJI F450 frames are tough and a good platform to start and there's lots of examples. They are also quite tough so you can experiment and improve.

Apr 10, 2023 · The frame is one of those aluminum square tube F450 aluminum frames, whole thing without battery weighs in at 1080g! way bigger than I expected when my buddy said he knew a guy selling a "beginner drone" lol. So: I'm ideally looking for batteries that will allow 10-20 minutes "Cruising" flight time.
