Mar 18, 2022 · Among all the Egyptian pyramids, the most popular one would definitely be the Pyramids of Giza. It’s comprised of three pyramids: the Great Pyramid or Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure.

The Great Pyramid, or the Pyramid of Khufu, is the oldest and the tallest of the three pyramids towering over Giza. Constructed c. 2551–2528 BCE, it originally stood at 481.4 feet (147 meters), or about 45 stories.

They pyramids are those of Khufu (Cheops), Khafre (Chephren), and Menkure (Mycerinus). They were constructed over 4,500 years ago and show us the power and wealth of the pharaoh in the Old Kingdom.
