As someone who started 7 days ago, in the story, when you beat Dvalin, you get to try Venti, who is a bow user, so I assumed it was just natural to use bow on his weak spot. Good to learn it's climbable. Also this was recommended to me just as I was thinking about wiping up the floor with Dvalin's shame with Arlecchino.
