Sep 17, 2019 · My current workaround method is to tack weld nails to the dented area, and pull them using a split end on the slide hammer, or clamp with big mole grips and pull the mole grips with a hook. It's slow and laborious, but it sort of works. I'd like to find a quicker method.

Jan 5, 2019 · Slide Hammer Years ago when I was younger, I had a 309 gti. To be in the cool gang it needed to be lowered. Front was easy, rear was torsion bar. What did I know about torsion bar, bloke said I need slide hammer. Bought one and within the first few whacks stud snapped in torsion bar. I was lucky that dad was an engineer and found a solution.
