Aug 18, 2022 · Good evening, just bought GSX Pro for MSFS, the couatl scripting engine however doesn't seem to start. I tried with the Fenix A320 at Skiathos Airport by ORBX if that matters.

GSX Pro Change: Couatl engine not using Simconnect SIM_FRAME event anymore, due to a reported Simconnect bug resulting in momentary loss of connection in some cases. All instance of SIM_FRAME event used by Couatl programs, will automatically default to VISUAL_FRAME until the bug will be fixed in the sim. Version 3.3.4 – January 18th, 2025

Feb 1, 2025 · It won't change anything, since an older version of the Couatl engine will suffer from a simulator crash caused by your graphic driver just the same. Please don't keep confusing the cause with the effect. The cause if the graphic driver crashing, and making the sim crash. The effect is the Couatl engine crashing because of that.

Aug 26, 2022 · EDIT: not really, FSUIPC7.exe gets started correctly, couatl and Fenix does still not fire up. Funny thing: the couatl task symbol is there, but MSFS still tells me that the engine did not start and I have to manually execute the .exe to get it running.

Dec 17, 2019 · Couatl is restarting gracefully After that error, Couatl ran perfectly up until yesterday when I was told to upgrade by running the FSDT Live Update. I quit P3D and ran the update. Since then Couatl does NOT appear on the P3D Menu.

Sep 28, 2021 · When you select Add-Ons - Couatl Live Update - Check Live Update in the menu, the message "The remote server returned invalid data" appears. The GSX process itself is not started by the command Ctrl + F12. Neither from keyboard nor from the simulator menu. The Task Manager has a Couatl Scripting Engine for FSX / ESP process.

Oct 8, 2018 · I am having a problem with Couatl find airports. I recently downloaded a freeware airport and installed it on a separate SSD outside the P3D root folder. When I ran the airport mapper, it keeps finding the sims default scenery file. So, I went into the sim and disabled it.
