Sep 12, 2022 · In my case, I have the speakers in the laptop and the speakers in my monitor. The audio device in Windows was the monitor speakers and on Teams it was the laptop speakers. So the Windows volume control was controlling the volume only on the monitor speakers and not the laptop speakers. Selecting the laptop speakers for both solved the problem.
