CDC25C - Wikipedia
The encoded protein is a tyrosine phosphatase and belongs to the Cdc25 phosphatase family. It directs dephosphorylation of cyclin B-bound CDC2 (CDK1) and triggers entry into mitosis. It is also thought to suppress p53-induced growth arrest.
The role of CDC25C in cell cycle regulation and clinical cancer …
Jun 3, 2020 · CDC25C is a novel partner for down-regulation of P53 transcription. The CDC25C gene contains a P53 binding site and P53 inhibition by the CDC25C promoter induces G2/M arrest after DNA damage.

Jan 30, 2015 · Cdc25C exhibits basal phosphatase activity during interphase and then becomes activated at the G 2 /M transition after hyperphosphorylation on multiple sites and dissociation from 14-3-3....
Cdc25 - Wikipedia
Cdc25 is a dual-specificity phosphatase first isolated from the yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe as a cell cycle defective mutant. [1] . As with other cell cycle proteins or genes such as Cdc2 and Cdc4, the "cdc" in its name refers to " c ell d ivision c ycle". [2] .
