Oct 13, 2022 · The 2SS is the luxury model that is track capable too. The 1SS is the base track capable model. An LT1 is an SS without the rear brembo brakes, extra auxiliary coolers for differential/trans maybe, and it doesn’t have the SS front end and rear end spoiler.

May 14, 2022 · I am about to place my order for a Camaro. I am torn between getting the 2SS or the 2SS 1LE. Both are comparable with cost after I finish putting them together. The MSRP difference between the two builds ends up being $1,000 after I finish putting the 2SS how I want it. This car would end up being my daily driver.

Oct 21, 2022 · I had a 2011 2SS automatic that I put headers and cold air intake on. I went up and down drag strip 50-60 times with that car and it never gave me any mechanical issues. I always changed oil at proper mileages and changed the spark plugs etc. I bought this car 6 years ago for 22.5k with 27k miles on it. Sold it at 100k miles for 14k. Hope this ...

This is too funny. Literally just bought a 1ss 1le today after debating between 2ss and 1le. Dual mode exhaust was a biggy for me but more importantly I cared about the exterior of the car and the 1le rims. If all you care about is the dual mode exhaust then I would go with a 2ss with dual mode exhaust option.

Jan 16, 2023 · The 2SS 1LE and base ZL1 are almost the same car, except the latter is supercharged. Same tires, same magnetic ride suspension, same interior goodies, and same chassis. Daily comfort is identical and track performance would be a few seconds off (even less than a second if it's a tight circuit).

Nov 26, 2023 · I have a 2016 2SS Auto as my daily driver and I love it. Reliable and hella fun to drive. Bought it 4 years ago at 50k miles and now I’m at 61k. I plan to keep it until it blows up or I crash it. The blind spots take some getting used to though. Wait until you’ve learned them before getting that curb rash fixed 😅

Dec 12, 2020 · The audio upgrade on the 2SS is a plus but I have not heard the difference between the 1SS and 2SS audio in person. Many of the 2SS models I see are optioned with the standard suspension, and what opinions I read about the differences from the magnetic suspension are not very decisive.

Sep 5, 2021 · Abysmal gas mileage, 92+ octane required. At its best, my auto 2SS gets 25 mpg daily on 87 (a sin, to be sure, but it can handle it and with premium over $4 a gallon here it's not worth running). A ZL1 will, at best, get 20. At that, running regular is just as expensive (cost per mile) as an SS running premium in my area.

The Camaro feels like a sports car. The Challenger feels heavy. Both pull, but the camaro makes you smile on twisty roads too, but sacrifices driving adults in the back seat.
