Milbank is pleased to announce high-amperage Current Transformer (CT) cabinet additions to our product portfolio. These bussed cabinets range from 400 to 3000 Amps. To install in conjunction with CT cabinets, Milbank also offers a range of CT meter sockets .

The CT cabinets are an essential part of electrical metering systems and are used both indoor and outdoor and in homes and industries. They are the enclosures in which the current transformers are mounted in. The cabinets are also made to prevent electrocution by setting up a physical barrier. Types of CT cabinets

CT Cabinets safely enclose current transformers and safeguard them from sleet, falling rain and external ice formation. They feature durable construction that withstands various external environmental factors. These cabinets are suitable for use in utility/current transformer metering, junction boxes, wiring boxes and pull boxes.

All CT cabinets are "bussed / lugged" with CT mounting rack included. CT mounting interior can be configured for either bar type or window type (donut) CT's. Side Gutter required for LINE in bottom, LOAD out bottom application (1200A and above).
