Bose 4001 Floorstanding Speakers - Audio Review
The 4001's are different. Since they do have 2 6.5" woofers, front facing, (one of which is tuned toward mid to upper bass, one more "sub" bass) these speakers are able to produce a very good, solid midrange with some presence missing in a lot of other Bose speakers.

Excellent working set of Bose 4001 speakers rated at 200 Watts total. These can be pushed with a receiver or power amp rated 4-8 ohms. They sound great, some nicks and scuffs on cabinets that are displayed in the photos.

Strength: Out of about ten sets of floor standing speakers I have in storage, the 401’s are my overall favorite. They have a rich, pleasant sound that rivals larger speaker sizes. I’ve only had them for a month in my main living room stereo.
