Aug 18, 2015 · Have the same engine. This is an ongoing problem with that particular panel. Mine will come on intermittently and shows the correct hours. Search the archives. Much has been posted about this. The cure may be more of a hassle than it's worth, however. Better to install a remote hour meter.
