Once you got some blaze rods and netherwart, retreat to overworld, and brew up some 8-minute fire resist potions. With this effect, blaze fireballs do zip to you. And you can literally walk up to a spawner and just kill them wholesale.

Dec 15, 2015 · Combine it with redstone to make an extended fire resistant potion, which makes you invincible to blazes from then on. Kill the blazes after drinking that potion, get more blaze rods, make more potions, repeat ad infinitum. I have about 4 stacks of blaze rods and don't remember the last time I was harmed by a blaze (or lava for that matter)!

Apr 27, 2017 · Blaze? I assume you meant ghast, because Blazes cannot even detect a player more than 16 blocks away (which means they stop flaming, the naturally drift downwards, and most importantly they don't try shooting anything).

Mar 24, 2012 · I'm working on building a blaze farm and so I'm boxing in the spawner. What is their height? Do they spawn in areas that are 2 blocks tall or do they need 3 blocks vertically to spawn?

Aug 23, 2013 · blaze spawners are pentiful in the nether exposed fortresses will have blazes walking the walls, some fortresses are built into the netherack, sometimes the spawner is covered, or lost to netherack,but not finding a single one if everything else Rodabon above listed is correct, then i dont know.

Dec 9, 2019 · blazes can spawn in a light level of either 9 or 11 (I forget which it is, but it's on the wiki). If you want to 100% block the spawns from a blaze cage spawner, it's probably easiest to simply fill in the space with solid blocks or at least glass (mobs can't spawn on glass).

May 27, 2014 · Instead of cheating in blaze rods, you should just use Too Many Items and place a blaze spawner where the original was. Its techincally not cheating, just pretend you never broke it They actually do spawn quite a bit without the spawner if you make the spawn conditions better.
