It's not a term used by actual Irish people in Ireland. Some weird Irish American thing. I have black hair and dark brown eyes, very pale skin. tons of Irish look like that, there is no set Irish phenotype, we span the range from blonde hair to black and everything inbetween. phosphorescent white skin to brown olive skin.
