Jul 17, 2014 · It's roughly 5cm from the fender/door gap and about 3cm above the vent/boomerang or whatever it's called on my 428i convertible M-Sport package. The left side M is actually a couple of millimeters higher than the right side - OEM/factory stuck on. Never would have noticed it if I wasn't actually bored enough to go measure this for you.

Jan 23, 2024 · I actually just bought the rear m340i emblems in Glossy black and side fender emblems in black which are a tad bigger than the ones I have on there now. I'm going to take painters tape and outline the bottom of the emblem to place the new one and save me the headache of second guessing myself.
