BMW 328i/335i Brake Compatibility : r/E90 - Reddit
Apr 3, 2023 · Many people with 328s actually upgrade to 335 brakes for better performance. A quick Google search or parts search on somewhere like FCP will instantly tell you what you need to know. Definitely wouldn't downgrade my brakes on a turbocharged vehicle.
r/BMW on Reddit: Owners of 335i, how is your car holding up?
Mar 12, 2015 · Other than the waterpump/t-stat, you should replace the OFHGasket and Valve gasket. $5, messy DIY or a few hundred at the shop. Many german cars have the carbon build up deals, but you probably didn't notice the build up unless you drive another 335, or have yours cleaned. Trans fluid replace around 100k and rear diff fluid.

With BMW coolant and new hoses the N52 pumps seem to last longer especially on Sport Package cars which do cool better. The N54 in stock form still has a ton of issues but deferred maintenance mixed with cheap performance really is the issue.
Reliability of the F30 335i? : r/BMW - Reddit
Dec 13, 2022 · Hey all, have never owned a BMW. I’ve read good things about the N55 on some forums but most of the posts seems to be from 2013-16. I’m looking at a 2012 335i sedan with 60k miles and wanted some informed opinions and what I should expect.

Dec 5, 2018 · A few things to start. It depends on what you're looking for. 2009-2010 335's are n54 engines which are the more power-friendly engine with some forged internals and the best years for it. 2011 335's are n55 engines which are the more reliable engine with less things that go …
